Map Projection Initialization and Transformation
  • Aabel map projection utilities allow initializing geographic coordinate pairs, initializing projected coordinate pairs, transforming unprojected coordinate pairs, projecting from one system to another, or modifying a given projection system-specific parameters or datum.
  • The image below shows the utility dialog for initialization of projected coordinate pairs (in this example, the projection system is Albers Conical Equal Area, the datum is Airy, and the data unit is U.S. feet).
