Parallel Coordinates

Factorial Parallel Coordinates

  • This simple categorical parallel coordinates graph is designed for generating data subsets at fixed levels of experimental factors.
Generating Subsets of Data From Fixed Levels of Experimental Factors

Example: We have a dataset that includes three factors. Factor A with two levels; factor B with two levels; factor C with three levels. We want a subset of data to AB at and C1. This can be done in two ways:

    (a) Selecting the C1 bubble on the graph will select data included in A1B1 at C1, A1B2 at C1, A2B1 at C1, and A2B2 at C1. From contextual menu we can then generate a new worksheet from the selected data.

    (b) X-zooming into the C1 bubble; this will extract data included in A1B1 at C1, A1B2 at C1, A2B1 at C1, and A2B2 at C1 interactively.
